Earthing™ Technology - What is Earthing™?
Earthing™ (re-connecting with the earth) is a recent idea. It is based on scientific evidence confirming the long-suspected necessity for physical contact with the earth. Modern science has determined that connecting with the earth (or otherwise connecting to the natural frequencies of the earth) has a wide variety of effects on both people and animals.
Throughout time animals have had that physical contact 24 hours a day with the earth. Today pets live and sleep on carpets or wood and their foot pads never, or rarely, make that physical contact!
Contact with the earth (or otherwise connecting to the natural frequencies of the earth) connects your pet to an unlimited supply of free electrons resident in and on the surface of the earth. That contact with the earth also connects your pet with rhythmic cycles of the earth's energy field. These are essential for synchronizing biological clocks, hormonal cycles and physiological rhythms.
Because our pets, particularly house pets, are not spending time in direct contact with the earth, Barefoot Connections™ products were designed to help make the connection - with the comfort of a pet bed. In today's world, re-connecting with the earth (Earthing™) could be one of the most important things you do for your pet, not to mention yourself!

My dog, Titus, was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus in October 2006. Almost all of the pigment in his nose and spots around his eyes had turned from black to pink. His nose was also peeling, cracking, and bleeding. The veterinarian put him on a topical steroid cream that we had to administer twice a day to his nose. She told us that this could spread to the rest of his face as well as the pads on his paws. In January 2007, we laid an earthing pad on his bed. He took to it right away. We noticed within a month that his nose drastically improved. The black pigment started returning and there was NO cracking or peeling... Read more!
I love my German Shepherd mix Moti and was devastated when he started limping really bad and the vet told me that he had a 'typical German Shepherd hip deterioration' and that surgery was the only way to give him relieve from the pain he was experiencing. While I was weighing the $1,200 the surgery would cost and the ordial 12 year old Moti would have to go through, against alternative treatments, I had the idea to try out my old 'sleeping earthed pad' (I had recently purchased the newer version for myself. I love my pad and would not be without it ever again) and put it on the floor for Moti to sleep on. He rather quickly took to the pad and stopped sleeping elsewhere. He must have noticed that this spot gave him relieve from his pain. After only 1 week, I noticed that he was limping less... Read more!
